MagicBand+ pairing with Smart Phone; Minnie Mouse band

    My magic band + will not update. I have three that won’t update.

    Hi Bryan! Welcome to planDisney.

    Oh Boy! You are only a few short days away from arriving at Walt Disney World Resort. I recently returned from a trip myself and my MagicBand+ needed to be updated as well. Let's see if I can help you troubleshoot your issue.

    First, always make sure your My Disney Experience Mobile App is up to date. Before I could update my own MagicBand+ I needed to charge it to at least 60%. Also verify your MagicBand+ is linked to your app and Bluetooth is turned on. If these steps do not help, you may want to try a "factory reset." If all of these measures fail to help you, I suggest you give the My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+ Help Center a call to speak to a Cast Member.

    Once you get all of this updating matters settled, you can look forward to your MagicBand+ interacting with the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues, Happily Ever After, Fantasmic!, and Haunted Mansion to name a few.
