    Do you have to have a magic band with memory maker in order to have access/download all ride videos?

    Hi Helena!

    Looking back on attraction photos and videos is one of my favorite ways to remember magical moments from past Walt Disney World Resort vacations!  Memory Maker is a great addition to a vacation because it allows you to collect all of those magical memories for one price.  Plus, you don't have to be stuck behind your camera the entire trip because the Disney PhotoPass Photographers can do all of the photography work for you!  That being said, all of the attraction photos and videos that are connected to your My Disney Experience account can be purchased separately if you do not have Memory Maker.

    Although many of the attraction photos can be attached to your My Disney Experience account manually, or by touching a hard card ticket or MagicBand to a touch point at the exit of the ride, there are some, including some of the attractions with videos, where the photos and videos magically appear in your My Disney Experience account.  These photos are connected to your account through a reader inside the attraction that recognizes your MagicBand (which is also linked to your My Disney Experience account).  These readers are specifically for MagicBands, so guests without MagicBands may not receive these photos and videos.  If you want to make sure you receive these photos and videos, and you do not have a MagicBand, you can purchase one online at ShopDisney.com, on the Shop Disney Parks website or mobile app, or at various locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort!
