I love the convenience of
MagicBands! They are my favorite vacation accessory. When a MagicBand is linked to a person's profile, it remains connected to that person and any information also linked to them, such as tickets or reservations. Once a MagicBand has been linked to a specific person, it cannot be transferred or relinked to someone else. So, if your mother-in-law linked your MagicBand to your profile through her
My Disney Experience account, it is still linked to you and you may continue to use it. You should be able to view your MagicBand in your My Disney Experience account under "My MagicBands and Cards".
If your mother-in-law created a profile for you in her My Disney Experience account, and you later created your own account, you'll need to connect through
Family & Friends so there is only one Shane, not two! This way your plans and MagicBand will migrate over to the real you. To do this, have your mother-in-law log in to her account and navigate to "My Family & Friends". Next to your name, she will select the blue link with the word "Update", then "Share Planning with Shane". She will then enter the email address associated with your account. You'll receive an invitation to connect, and once you accept you should be all set! If you need more assistance,
