Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you stopped by to see us. It sounds like you need to merge two My Disney Experience accounts, and if so, I'm happy to help. Let's walk through the process!
The easiest way to
connect the managed minor profile that your mom has access to with your newly created account is for her to invite you to connect via her Family & Friends List. To do this, have her
log in to her account online, locate your childhood account under “Guests You Manage,” then select "Manage" next to your name. Once on the profile, she'll click "Invite (name) to Sign In and Plan on Their Own." She'll need to input the email address associated with your new account and click "Invite." You should then receive an email to approve the request, which will transfer all existing plans to your account. This should also include any linked MagicBands.
If you run into any issues with
merging duplicate profiles, you can also
reach out to a Cast Member with the "App and MagicBand Support" Team by phone. They should be able to help resolve any technical issues that arise and answer any additional questions you may have.
As you prepare for your next visit, be sure to check out the new MagicBand+ styles on
disneystore.com and in the shops around the parks. You can have multiple bands linked to your profile, and it's always fun to coordinate your band with your park outfit of the day.
MagicBand+ has many interactive features and can also be
used on select Disney Cruise Line ships, should you have a sailing on the horizon.
