Hey there, Andrea, and welcome to planDisney!
Of all of the ways to tap into the magic at Walt Disney World Resort, a
MagicBand+ can do that and beyond. You can enter the theme parks with it (with linked admission), redeem your Lightning Lane selections, charge purchases across the Resort to your hotel folio, and interact with theme park elements. They’re quite fun—and my little ones absolutely love them. Let’s jump right into sizing!
Even the youngest of Mouseketeers can squeeze into a MagicBand+. Once you land on the design that you like for your kid and purchase it, you can adjust the band to the size of the wearer’s wrist. There’s a perforated section on each MagicBand+ that says “Peel for smaller size.” This is practically perfect for kiddos whose wrists aren’t quite ready for the full-size band. However, I wouldn’t recommend for a baby or toddler to wear one because they’ll probably snap it off (besides, those
under 3 years old don’t need valid theme park admission).
AN EXTRA GEM: Keep in mind that once you’ve torn off the bigger section of a MagicBand+, you can’t reattach it. So, be 100% sure before you remove it. Once your child is older, they’ll most likely be ready for a new design anyway. There are so many cool ones to choose from!
Andrea, if you have any additional questions,
please revisit us here at planDisney. Any of the panelists will be more than happy to lend a Mickey hand.
Magic always,
LeAndra
