    hi, we will be on the magic in april 2012 and i would really like to visit maho beach to watch the jets, is my best bet to book a tour with a local guide? i did not see any disney excursions for this.

    St. Maarten is one of my favorite stops on the Eastern Caribbean Itinerary.  You are in for a fabulous time on this cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Magic!

    Since there is not a Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure that goes to Maho Bay, you would have to find a local tour.  I have been on both sides of St. Maarten, and Maho Bay is not anywhere near the port.  Please allow plenty of time if you choose to go with a non-Disney tour.  The traffic on the island can delay you for several hours.  Unfortunately, the ship will only wait for DCL Port Adventures. 

    I'm happy to recommend the Afternoon Beach Bash Tour or the Rhino Rider and Snorkeling Adventure for your trip if you decide to try something else.
