Hi Jolie,
Welcome home, and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you for bringing your question to us today. I love getting the opportunity to chat with fellow
Disney Vacation Club Members and help them make the most of their membership. My family and I have been enjoying the flexibility of our membership for several years, and we only wish we had joined sooner!
If you log in to your Disney Vacation Club member account on the
website and visit your
Member Dashboard, you will see your waitlists listed directly under any planned vacation details. Here, you can modify or deactivate your waitlists should you wish to.
Because we travel from the UK, we always take full advantage of the 11-month home resort booking window. But when the 7-month booking window comes around, we often
waitlist a different resort we are yet to stay at. Jolie, just be aware that often the first sign that your waitlist has come through is an email letting you know your original reservation has been cancelled. Don't panic if you see this, just log in to your Disney Vacation Club account and check your dashboard, where you should see your new reservation listed, which was previously a waitlist. Just keep in mind there are no guarantees with waitlists.
I hope this answers your question, Jolie. I am wishing you all the luck in the (Disney) world that your waitlist comes through. If you have any more questions about your membership or vacation planning, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help.
Have a magical day!
Matt
