We have made reservations at PO-Riverside, I have requested the Bayou area?? We have never stayed here before, last year we were at the Carribean Beach and I wasn't thrilled with that resort, What do you think is this a good area to stay with a 10 year old

Well perhaps you should take this with a grain of salt considering that Caribbean Beach is my favorite moderate, but I think you will be happy with this resort. It has a quiet, rustic charm that appeals to many visitors, and I have friends who list this as their favorite place to stay in Disney.

Hands down, our favorite thing to do at Port Orleans-Riverside is to visit Yee-Ha Bob at the River Roost Lounge. They welcome family members of all ages, and Bob's musical comedy show is funny and engaging for kids of all ages. It's a must-see if you're staying here!

Word of caution - I'm not sure what you didn't love about Caribbean Beach, but if it was the size, you may not love Riverside, either. It, too, is an extremely large resort, and will require a good bit of walking. The smallest of the moderates is French Quarter, if that helps you in making your decision.

    Good luck!
