Heigh-HO HO HO, Lynn!
When the weather outside is frightful, a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is so delightful! I'm excited to hear you will get to experience the
holiday season on your magical vacation this December. Disney really knows how to deck the halls, and it's the most wonderful time to wear ears! I know, I know … It might be a little too early to get excited about the holiday season. It really is the most wonderful time of the year though and, with holiday magic abounding at every turn, you made a wise decision in purchasing theme park tickets with the
Park Hopper Option. Being able to Park Hop allows you the most flexibility for taking in all of that holiday magic since you can flit from park to park as you see fit.
With the Park Hopper Option, you need to start your day out at the theme park you selected for your
Theme Park Reservation, meaning you must enter that park before you can visit another park that day. Then, when Park Hopper hours begin at 2:00 p.m., you may Park Hop (go to) to another theme park of your choosing. You do not need to make another Theme Park Reservation for subsequent parks you Park Hop to. Keep in mind Park Hopping is subject to a park’s capacity limitations. Should Park Hopping become unavailable at a theme park on a given day, Guests will be notified via a push notification from the
My Disney Experience mobile app on their smart devices. This typically isn’t an issue, but be sure to allow notifications from the mobile app in your device’s settings just in case.
What makes Park Hopping so easy is the complimentary transportation options between theme parks that get you where you need to go in a real jiffy. Here are a couple of tips to keep in mind as you plan out your days:
- To travel between Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT, use the monorail.
- To travel between Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, use the Disney Skyliner or Friendship Boats, both of which can be found outside the park entrance at International Gateway (near the France pavilion in World Showcase).
- When traveling between Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and any other park, use bus transportation.
- To travel between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, use the bus transportation as well.
I hope this information proves helpful, Lynn. I can't wait for your family to experience everything the most magical time of year has to offer at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop by again if we can answer any more questions that pop up along the way.
"Sleigh" all day,
Alyssa
