Made reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern for Dinner. I know that there is no character dinner there anymore, so I was wondering about the menu? Is it still the patriot's platter that they served at the character meal or is there a new menu for dinner?

    Hi Danielle,

Liberty Tree Tavern is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in all of Disney World. It was a shame to see the characters leave the dinner seatings and I hope they will return in the near future.

The dinner is still the same Patriot's Platter that was offered with the character experience. It is a family style meal with mixed salad, rolls and that yummy honey butter, roast turkey, carved beef and pork, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Stouffers macaroni and cheese (which my boys fight over), and (my favorite) herb bread stuffing. For dessert there is the warm cherry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Mmmm, now my mouth is watering!

Liberty Tree Tavern is still very popular even without the character meal, so I would suggest making reservations ninety days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE or 407-939-3463.

    Enjoy!
