I made reservations at some of the most hard to get places not realizing I had to include my infant in the numbers. Will one of my family members be turned away?

    Hi Dusti,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad you stopped by with your dining question.

The Table-Service restaurants do need an accurate head count in order to have a table available that can accommodate your entire dining party and also maintain standards for capacity and fire safety. Your little one will not be charged at Character Dining experiences or all-you-care-to-enjoy dining locations when sharing from an adult's plate. If you have not done so already, I recommend calling Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 to see if a friendly Cast Member can assist you in modifying your existing reservations. I have previously needed to increase the number in my dining party and have often been successful when doing so in advance. If they are unable to modify your reservations, keep checking back. You never know when someone else may change their plans and cancel a dining reservation in order to prevent being charged the cancellation fee. If you find you are unable to modify your existing reservations or are unsuccessful in finding something new at any "can't miss" restaurants, I would recommend showing up on the day of your dining reservation and simply ask if they can accommodate your entire dining party. I would also explain that you didn't realize your infant needed to be included when originally making your dining reservations. On a few occasions, I've had a friend decide to join our group at the last minute. The Table-Service restaurants were able to add her to our table. Although it is up to the discretion of each dining location, I've always found the Cast Members try their absolute best to avoid having to turn Guests away.

I hope this information is helpful to you, Dusti. Let us know if you have any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Bon Appétit,
    Jodie
