    I made reservations for our first day of arrival at AKL, but we are staying at the AOA. If I do online check in, will our magic bands have our dining credits loaded, or do I have to go to AOA to have them activated first?

    Hi Barbara!

    I'm happy you've returned to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another fantastic vacation planning question.   You're going to really enjoy staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  My children race around the grounds whenever we arrive asking to take pictures with the larger than life characters in the courtyards.   Please set aside some time for your family to explore all the Resort has to offer.

    Online check-in is a great way to save time when arriving at your Disney Resort hotel.  I'm very happy you are planning on utilizing this service it will definitely speed-up your check-in.   I have just spoken to a reservation Cast Member for Walt Disney World and she has told me you will need to check-in at Disney's Art of Animation Resort before heading to your dining reservation.   When you check-in the Cast Member will make sure your MagicBands are working correctly, and that all your  Disney Dining credits and theme park tickets are attached to your reservation.    This process should not take you long, and can be done early in the morning of your arrival day.   I have checked in as early as 6 a.m. at Disney Resorts.
