Hey Jennifer, How exciting for your family to be making their first trip to Walt Disney World in just a few short weeks! I would definitely suggest trying one of the Character Dining Experiences. Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a family favorite and guests can enjoy meeting Mickey, Minnie, Goody, Pluto, and Donald Duck table side for photos and autographs. Chef Mickey's is open for breakfast and dinner. If you have a daughter, then consider Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom or Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall located in the Norway Pavilion of Epcot for an enchanting dining experience with the Disney princesses! 'Ohana, located at Disney's Polynesian Resort, is our favorite restaurant on property! With a Polynesian-inspired dinner menu, this all-you-can eat dining location serves up fabulous food, family-style.The island ambiance is festive and fun for all ages! Both Rainforest Café and T-Rex located at Downtown Disney are lots of fun for the whole family! Whether you prefer a prehistoric setting or a jungle ambiance, both dining locations feature life-size animatronic creatures! Rainforest Café has a second location at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. Epcot is home to several of our favorite dining locations as we like to experience the different cuisines that each country has to offer in the World Showcase. Le Cellier Steakhouse located in the Canada Pavilion and Teppan Edo located in the Japan Pavilion are great options for families! Please know that you will want to make Advance Dining Reservations for any table-service restaurants. Advance Dining Reservations can be made180 days prior to your arrival by calling (407)WDW-DINE or by going online here. I am out of room for my answer, but please write back if you need any further suggestions! Best wishes for a Magical Walt Disney World Vacation!
