We have made reservations for CRT at 8:20pm in February! We are worried about getting to our reservations on time because of the fireworks at 8pm. Will the area be roped off and/or do we need to get there earlier than usual to make sure we arrive on time?

    Megan,

I definitely understand your trepidation about this, but no, you should not have any problems with getting to the restaurant on time. If fireworks start at 8 pm, and Disney requests that you arrive around 15 minutes prior to your reservation (so 8:05 pm), the fireworks will still be underway when you are on your way there.

You will want to consider that the walkways will be fairly crowded with on-lookers to the fireworks show, so give yourself a few extra minutes to navigate those crowds. But you should not have to take any special routes to get to the podium to check in.

IF you find that the crowds are heavy, or there seems to be a difficulty in getting to the restaurant from the main hub of the park, consider crossing the bridges over towards Liberty Square or towards the Storybook Circus Fantasyland areas. As you approach the castle from Main Street they are to your left and right, respectively. When you cross them, there are paths up to the castle's "back door" that typically are lighter traveled.

    Have a magical vacation!
