When I made our reservations I bought the quick service meal plan. Our daughter has since been diagnosed with wheat & dairy allergies. How hard is it going to be for her to find meals? Any suggestions? We are flying so can't bring coolers.

    Hi Pat!

Have no fear, Walt Disney World is one of the most accommodating vacation destinations on the planet. You will be happy to know that just last week Disney Parks announced New Allergy-Friendly Menus at Disneyland, and Walt Disney World Resorts.  These new menus focus on the most common allergens: gluten/wheat,peanut, tree nut, fish and milk.  You will also be able to consult chefs at each restaurant concerning your daughter's specific allergy. The above linked article from the Disney Parks Blog will provide you a link to sample allergy-friendly menu so you can see how they will be laid out before you arrive.   I also encourage you check out the Special Dietary Requests section of the Walt Disney World website as it provides a wealth of information concerning allergies and dietary needs.

Enjoy your upcoming vacation at Walt Disney World.  Please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again with any other questions you might have.   We love to help whenever we have the chance.

    Have a Tiggerific Day,

    ~Jen
