Cathleen from MA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I made reservations back in January. We are going November 4-10. Which are the dates for our hotel. But on the top it says arrival November 4 Departure November 12. I am confused.

    Heigh-Ho Cathleen,

Welcome to planDisney, we, just like you are a Disney-loving group of Guests representing all walks of life. And we are here to help guide you through your planning questions and curiouser and curiouser inquiries.

You have picked a Practically Perfect time to visit Walt Disney World. During your visit, the Walt Disney World Resort will not only be transforming into a Wintery Holiday Season BUT the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Walt Disney World will be happening. As you plan for your visit, the Disney Parks Blog is a great place to stay up to date with all the excitement and merriment happening during this magical time of yEAR.

I am not sure why your Disney Resorts Collection hotel vacation dates are incorrect and although I am sure you wish you could stay an additional two days, it’s just not in the stars. I am assuming you have a My Disney Experience profile and have downloaded the mobile app and this is where your dates are in a state of confusion and truthfully needs to be solved by a Cast Member. I recommend calling (407) 939-1936 at your earliest convenience. At the moment, Cast Members are handling a high call volume so be prepared for a bit of a hold. I like to recommend Guests rise and shine early, brew a pot of coffee, dial around 7:00 am, and listen to a podcast, read a book or watch Disney+, until a Cast Member can happily assist you.

As you continue to plan, check out our Panel Extras for more tidbits and follow our Instagram (@planDisneypaenl) for more Disney Magic. And continue to reach out to us for any further Walt Disney World vacation advice.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Amy M.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
