    When I made my reservation (resort+tickets), I was told to get the park tickets until the military tickets came out, and I would be able to switch them. However, I want to purchase tickets thru GovX. Will I certainly be able to switch the park tickets?

    I'm excited to hear that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort in the spring! As a military spouse, I know that quality time is the best gift there is, and I can't think of a better place to spend time together than at The Most Magical Place on Earth. But first, let's talk about Special Offers for military service members!

    Adrian, since you're interested in a military discount, my best recommendation would be to specifically purchase Disney Military Salute Tickets. Theme park tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable, so you will not be able to switch standard theme park tickets to Disney Military Salute Tickets. Disney Military Salute Tickets are available for Eligible Service Members, who are active and retired members of the US Military.

    I'm happy to let you know that Disney Military Salute Tickets are now available for 2023! You can purchase these tickets through either Morale, Welfare, and Recreation at your local base or through Shades of Green. Personally, my husband and I like to purchase our tickets through Shades of Green because they arrive already activated and ready to be used. No matter how you purchase your tickets, be sure to link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account and make your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. This is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip!

    After you purchase your Disney Military Salute Tickets, I'd suggest that you book a room-only reservation for your vacation. Did you know that there is a 2023 military rate available for select Disney Resort hotels? It's true! To check for hotel availability and book a room, all you need to do is call a Cast Member at (407) 939-7830 and they'll help you with your next steps. Pro tip: if you can, be flexible with your dates and desired Disney Resort hotel. Sometimes, just shifting your date by a day or two can open up a whole new world of possibilities!
