Welcome to planDisney, Rick!
Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.
Don’t you love planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth? I always tell my family and friends the next best thing to being on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is planning one! Figuring out all the yummy Mickey-shaped treats I’ll be eating to the attractions I’ll ride; it all transports me to my favorite place in the world, and I’m elated to hEAR you’ll be headed there soon!
Rick, although you cannot modify your Disney Park Pass reservations, you would be able to cancel your current one to make a new one for a different park. However, before you do anything, I urge you to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar first. This will show you if the park you would like to visit has any availability and can be viewed in categories of Theme Park ticket holders, Select Resort Hotel stays, and Annual Passholders. If it shows no availability in your category, do continue to check back ever so often because people are often changing and canceling plans, and it doesn’t hurt to keep checking! I’ve often found last-minute availability this way.
If the calendar shows availability for the theme park you would like to visit, you can cancel your current park passes by heading to the
Walt Disney World Resort website and hovering over the My Disney Experience logo on the top-right hand side, and selecting “My Plans.” This will take you to a page where you can see all your reservations, and you will want to scroll down until you see the current Park Pass reservation that you’d like to cancel. Next to this, you will see “View Details” and then “Cancel this reservation,” which you want to choose. Upon selecting “Cancel this reservation,” you will be directed to a page that will allow you to choose who in your party would like to keep the reservation and who all would like to be removed. Once you have confirmed the cancellation, you’re free to make a new park pass by visiting
Disney Park Pass reservation system!
You're going to have the best vacation ever! And remember, no matter where you go at Walt Disney World Resort, it’ll be magical. After all, they don’t call it The Most Magical Place on Earth for no reason.
Have an enchanting time!
