Hi Jose! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
I'm so sorry to hear there was confusion surrounding your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort.
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party is a separate ticketed nighttime party. Tickets went on sale earlier this summer and quickly sold out. This is not uncommon, but it can be frustrating for Guests who don't manage to grab a ticket or are unaware that they must do so when the sale is announced.
However, I'm glad to hear you have your
theme park reservations in place since it's a popular time to visit and parks and dates can fill up. The good news is I can assure you that there is plenty of hauntingly good fun in store for you outside the party. I truly feel like you won't be disappointed at all in your Halloween experience.
Everywhere you look, you'll see festive touches from street decorations to Characters in their spooky finest as part of
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. The Mickey pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A. might be the best spot for your Halloween
Disney PhotoPass photo to commemorate your visit, but you'll find lots of others too. If you're looking for some special treats to indulge in, check out
Disney Eats. Their
Foodie Guide has all the official information on the special Halloween deliciousness you can find around the parks outside of the party. The Poison Apple Macaron at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe on Main Street, U.S.A., available for Mobile Order, and the Halloween Donut at GCH Craftsman Grill at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa deserve a quick picture before you dive into snacking. My absolutely must-do during the spooky season is the holiday overlays you'll find on select attractions. My favorite is
Haunted Mansion Holiday in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. It's an amazing transformation of an already iconic attraction. And you won't want to miss the nighttime entertainment,
Halloween Screams, which features fireworks on
select nights.
One thing to be aware of: Disney California Adventure Park does close earlier than usual on nights the party is held. This might mean you want to
modify your theme park reservation to Disneyland Park or if you have a
Park Hopper, hop to Disneyland Park when Disney California Adventure Park closes. There is good news with those party nights, however. Disney California Adventure Park tends to be less busy during the day of the parties, so you might experience lighter crowds and shorter queues.
Boo to you!
Elizabeth
