I made a reservation for myself and my sister-in-law for November of 2021. Originally it was just going to be the two of us, but now we are adding a third person. How do I add her to my existing reservation? Do I have to call guest services? Thank you!

Hi there, Bobbie! Welcome back to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

One of my favorite parts of vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort is the amount of flexibility I have when planning our stays! We often end up switching around our plans or changing the number of people in our party. Fortunately, it is incredibly easy to make these changes even if they occur during our travel dates!

In order to change the members of your travel party, you will need to first log into your My Disney Experience account. Once there, you will navigate to the “My Reservations” page and find the reservation you would like to add your friend too. You should then see a link that says “Modify Reservation”. Once you click this link, you should be given various options to edit your reservation including adding or subtracting members from your travel party. If you have any issues with this process, you can also contact the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation phone line and speak directly with a Cast Member about making these changes!

It is also important to keep in mind that all Guests are required to have theme park reservations prior to visiting any of the four theme parks. This means, if you have already created reservations for you and your sister-in-law, you will need to add your additional friend to your current reservations or have them create their own. Guests can create their theme park reservations through the Disney Park Pass system as soon as they have purchased theme park tickets and connected them to their My Disney Experience account. It is highly recommended that you check availability through the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar prior to purchasing tickets and verify that there is availability during your travel dates!

I hope this information assists you as you continue to plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort this fall! Please let us know if we can assist with planning another portion of your stay as well!
