We have made a reservation for horseback riding at 8:00 a.m. Does that mean we arrive by 8, then check in and get instructions? Or do we arrive 30 minutes early for instructions with the ride starting at 8? I just don't want to be late!

Hi there, Jami! Welcome back to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and asking another excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

One of the Disney Resort Hotels with the most to do is so often overlooked by Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort! Located just minutes away from the Magic Kingdom, The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort boasts some of the most eclectic recreational activities and can keep you busy for an entire day, if you would like!

Tri-Circle-D Ranch at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is an entire destination itself where Guests can meet Cinderella’s Ponies and catch a glimpse of many different horse breeds during their visit. Guests may also reserve fun activities such as pony rides for the little ones and horseback rides for Guests 9 years and older. Guests that embark on the horseback riding adventure will ride through the gorgeous, wooded trails around the area on a relaxing tour that is perfect for beginner and intermediate riders.

It is recommended that you arrive 30 minutes before your departure time. This will give you time to go through the required safety training and get acquainted with the horse you will be traveling with for your tour!

If you’re looking for a bite to eat after all your adventures, I highly recommend making advanced dining reservations at the Trail’s End Restaurant! This all-you-care-to-enjoy feast offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner and consists of many hearty, American dishes that are sure to fill you up before traveling to your next destination!

I hope you have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World Resort next month! Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you!
