Let’s just say that you have made an excellent choice in making a reservation for
GEO-82. From the Peach Shrub Whisky Smash (and its cute shortbread cookie) to the most amazing hummus and ahi tuna, I have
never had a bad dish or drink at this lounge. I’d love to share more about what happens if your third party member can’t join in on the fun.
In your situation, two out of the three Guests will show up to the lounge under an advanced dining reservation. There is indeed a no-show fee, but that won’t happen in your case. If at least one person from your party shows up and checks in with the
My Disney Experience app or with the restaurant host, you will not be charged for a no-show fee.
I recommend that you tell a GEO-82 Cast Member about your situation as soon as you can in order for them to better accommodate you and other potential Guests. And if you both decide not to go, which I hope that you keep the reservation, make sure to cancel at least 2 hours before the reservation time.
AN EXTRA GEM: Depending on the time of day that you visit, you and your friend can be treated with a beautiful daytime of the World Showcase beyond or even a dazzling fireworks show once the sun has set. During my last visit, I enjoyed watching
Luminous: The Symphony of Us with a customized cocktail in hand. The music is piped into the lounge, too, which is a nice bonus.
