I made a reservation to DCA when both parks were an option to get one. Now, there are no reservations left for my planned date. Am I still able to park hop to disneyland or do I have to stick to DCA because that is what I put?

Hi Cindy! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

Don't worry! You only need a theme park reservation for the park where you're starting your day with the Park Hopper option. You'll be able to hop over to Disneyland Park later in the day regardless of whether there is currently availability or not.

The only time you wouldn't be able to enter would be if Disneyland Park reached capacity. That's an incredibly rare occurrence since the advent of theme park reservations. And if it would reach capacity on one of the most popular days of the year, for example, you would only have to wait until more Guests had existed so you could enter. I don't think you'll need to worry about that, however.

I hope that eases your worries and you can focus on planning your day. Whether it's festive holiday overlays on beloved Attractions like "it's a small world" Holiday in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park or a tasty seasonal treat, I've got my list of must-do activities ready to go for our upcoming visit too! Check out the Daily Event Schedule for more detailed information. Those details could change, but it should help you determine what you want to explore.

    Have a merry time!
