Made a recent trip to WDW. We saw a lot of change at certain place ex: its a small world. Curious...What is done with that money? Is it given to charity?

    Hi Wendy,

There are several areas at Walt Disney World where guests often toss coins into water. These include the Small World ride, the Wishing Well, Cinderella Fountain, and others.

These areas are periodically cleaned and the coins found in them are donated to charities. The donations are rotated among several child care related charities and the Disney Wildlife Conservation Fund.

So go ahead and make you wish, and know that your coin toss is going to a good cause.
