Hi there, Carol! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so excited to hear that you're headed to
The Most Magical Place on Earth this November! This is one of my absolute favorite times of year to visit, from the cooler temperatures to the whisper of the holidays in the air. You'll still be able to catch the global marketplaces and live entertainment of the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival before it leaves on November 19, and don't forget to pack your seasonal best if you plan on purchasing tickets to
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! There's nothing like watching Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade while "snow" falls on Main Street U.S.A.
It sounds like you've already made most of your magical plans, from your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel (don't forget to check out the
resort benefits, like
Early Theme Park Entry!) to your Theme Park Reservations with the
Disney Park Pass system. Now it's time to make sure you can connect with the other Guests in your travel party! Here are some tips to get you started:
- First, I'd ask the other Guests to make their own My Disney Experience accounts. This will make planning together much easier!
- Next, head to your Family & Friends List. Log in, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click My Family & Friends.
- Since you made all of the plans for your travel party, you will likely see the words "Plans managed by me" next to the names on your list. To share these plans with others, click "Update" next to the first Guest, then "Share Planning with..." Here, you'll be able to enter this Guest's email address. Once they accept the invitation on their end, they'll be able to view and co-manage these plans with you!
- Complete the above steps for each Guest in your travel party, allowing you all to link through your Family & Friends List.
- Your daughter should be able to see these connections in her Family & Friends List, too. If she doesn't, she can scroll down to the bottom of this page and click "Add a Guest." I've had the best luck when selecting the "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation" option!
If you've tried the above steps and are running into any problems, my next best piece of advice would be to
call a Cast Member. A little like real-life fairy godparents, they will do everything they can to wave their wands and turn this pumpkin of a problem back into a carriage!
I hope I was able to get you started in the right direction, Carol! If you have any other questions, please visit us again.
Faith, trust, and pixie dust -
Michelle
