I made a payment towards my cruise using Disney gift cards, and used multiple cards to make payments along the way, I need to cancel the cruise how will those funds be returned? I’m most concerned about the payments made with Disney gift cards.

Ahoy there, Amber! Welcome, and thanks so much for your question.

I'm so very sorry that you have to cancel your Disney Cruise Line vacation! I know firsthand how disappointing that can be, and I absolutely hope you'll be able to rebook something and go sometime soon.

There has been a relaxed cancellation policy in place, so definitely make sure to look at that as you prepare to cancel so you are familiar with the policies. When you cancel your Disney Cruise, any refund will be returned in the original form of payment you used when you paid for the cruise. So, if you used a credit card - or multiple credit cards - the refund will go back on the cards that were used. In the case of a Disney Gift Card, that money will be refunded to the Disney Gift Card (or in your case, cards) that was used.

Keep in mind that some third-party fees for insurance or airlines may not be refunded.

I hope this all works out, Amber, and you are soon back to planning your high seas adventure!
