I made a park reservation but I need to change it to go to a different park how do I do that

    Nancy,

Thank you for asking your question at planDisney!

You certainly can change your Theme Park Reservation selection, assuming the park you are changing to has availability. You will just want to cancel your original reservation, and then make a new one for the preferred new park.

Start by confirming that the park you want to switch to has availability, based on your ticket type, for that particular day.

Next, go to your My Disney Experience account and select "My Plans". Find the theme park reservation on the day that you want to change and click on "View Details". On the next page, you will want to click on "Cancel This Reservation", selecting all the guests for whom you wish to cancel.

Finally, all you must do is go in to make the updated reservation selection, as you did before, with your new park selection.

    BONUS TIP
Make sure when you check for park availability that you choose the right type of ticket. The three choices are

    1. Theme Park Tickets - this applies to someone with standard theme park tickets who likely is not staying at a Disney Resort hotel
    2. Select Resort Hotels - this selection is for ticket holders staying at Disney Resort hotels and select other hotels
    3. Annual Passes - Obviously this choice is for Annual Pass holders
