Hi Ann,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! It sounds like you have an upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort, and I couldn’t be more excited for you.
As you’ve seen, certain ticket types, including
Annual Passes and non-date-based tickets, currently require
theme park reservations. As an Annual Passholder, I’m required to make theme park reservations for most days I plan to visit (the exception being weekday arrivals after 2 pm or Good to Go Days). Passholders are
allotted different quantities of theme park reservations that can be held at one time, depending on their past type. However, if they have an eligible resort reservation, they can make theme park reservations for each day of their stay, in addition to holding their maximum number of theme park reservations at a time, on a rolling basis.
I’m not sure what type of ticket your daughter has, but I’m happy to hear you’ve already secured the necessary reservations. If she decides not to visit on her first reserved day, she should be eligible to make a new reservation, up to the maximum her ticket type allows, on a rolling basis for the remainder of your trip. Alternatively, she can
modify her existing theme park reservation, subject to availability, for a different park or date of visit right from the My Disney Experience app.
Ann, I hope your visit goes according to plan, but know that we're always here to offer guidance and recommendations. You can also keep an eye out for the blue
Guest Experience Team umbrellas stationed throughout the parks, should you need real-time tech support or additional assistance from Cast Members. Wishing you a fantastic visit!
Magic and memories,
Amy
