Hi Joseph,
A
springtime getaway to The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like a fantastic idea! I'm so glad to hear you're planning a Disney adventure for next month!
You're exactly right that under the
phased reopening, capacity is limited at all of the theme parks to allow for physical distancing to keep Guests and Cast Members as safe as possible. Disney is utilizing the Disney Park Pass reservation system to manage how many Guests are in the parks on any given day. I just checked the
availability calendar this morning, though, and there is still some availability during the dates of your visit! I'd encourage you to double-check yourself, and if you find that your dates are still showing availability, purchase your
theme park tickets,
link them to your My Disney Experience account, and grab your
Disney Park Pass reservations as quickly as possible. Once you have those reservations, you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that your spots in the parks are guaranteed.
If reservations are not available when you happen to check, you have a couple of options. First, keep checking! Guests' plans change all the time, and you never know when availability will open up. Next, if there's
any park availability, you could go ahead and grab that, then add the
Park Hopper option to your tickets. You could visit one park in the morning, then head over to where you were hoping to be beginning at 2 PM each day, pending availability. You might want to plan to go that route, but wait to upgrade your tickets once you see that you'll be able to hop as planned. I'm sending pixie dust that your itinerary will come together perfectly and all of your Disney dreams will come true during your trip!
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Joseph, and please let us know if there's anything else we can help with as you're thinking through the details of your visit. I hope you have a truly magical vacation next month!
Missy
