We made a Droid at Droid Depot at Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, and unfortunately got home without the remote! Can we replace this part?

    Dear Becky,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us for help! It is an honor to receive your question on the Disney Parks Moms Panel today!

I am so sorry to hear the droid remote control was left behind! I can only imagine how disappointed you must have all been! Luckily, I was able to get in touch with Guest Services and it turns out it might be possible to replace it.

The first thing you need to do is get in touch with the Merchandise Guest Service team by calling 1 (877) 560 6477 and explain the situation. Most likely they will ask you to email your receipt and perhaps photos of your droid so they can figure out what is missing. If you do not happen to have the receipt, you can still reach out to them to see if they track down the purchase through your MagicBand, credit card, Disney Hotel room reservation, etc. Even though there is no guarantee, it is worth the shot!

The Merchandise Guest Service Department can be reached Mondays thru Fridays from 8:00 am to 12: 00 midnight, Saturdays from 9:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays from 2:30 to 11:00 p.m. ET.

Becky, I know how important that droid must be to your family, as it symbolizes the amazing time you guys had during your vacation at Walt Disney World! Of course, you want to have it fully operational!

I really hope you will find a solution to your problem and, if you need anything else, please come back to see us again!

    Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
