    I made my Disney Reservation packet and paid with my Chase credit card and it’s a Disney card and I didn’t know it could save me some money, can I get someone to fix that?

    Hey Howdy Hey Sheila and welcome to planDisney!

    Due to the flexibility of vacation packages booked with Disney and the lower price required for the down payment, I always tell anyone planning on visiting Walt Disney World Resort to book early! The very next thing I would recommend to all Disney goers is keeping an eye on any Special Offers that come out. No matter when you book your trip, you always have the ability to try to apply the Special Offers to your vacation package even after you book your trip! Thank you for your question in regards to applying Special Offers to an already booked vacation package, let's review some things and try and get you ready to save!

    With most of the Special Offers that are released, you can try and take advantage of them yourself through your My Disney Experience account. Once you have your reservation and it is linked to your account, you should be able to go under the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section to see everything linked. On that page, on the far right, you should see options to "Make a Payment" or "Change/Modify Reservation". If you click on the "Change/Modify Reservation" this will bring up your reservation and if you click on the dates of the reservation, this should bring you to the resort and the dates with availability. Now, under the resort description and before the listing of availability, you should see options for Special Offers they will have available during your stay that you can select to check on availability. If this is listed and you go through to find out you are eligible to save some money, you can go through and apply this "change" to your vacation package and you should see an updated total! 

    One thing that I would encourage you to do is to really check on the details of the Special Offers as many might come with specifics of resort inclusion and exclusion as well as specific travel dates the offer is applicable towards. These offers do change from time to time and new ones may come out with very specific travel times and resort to keep an eye on. 

    If you do note that a Special Offer does apply to your vacation specifics but do have difficulty applying them to your account, you can always call Disney and a Cast Member will help you out. You can reach out directly at (407) 939-1936 and a Cast Member will be able to help you through this process as well.
