After I made my dining reservations online, I had the option to indicate "What Will You Celebrate?", so I listed my son's birthday for every dining reservation the week we will be at WDW. What will they do? Will I be charged for something?

Hi Jennifer! Walt Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate your son's birthday!

Noting a birthday on a restaurant reservation might result in your son receiving a little pixie dust!  My daughter celebrated her birthday at Disney last year. At some restaurants, she received a special birthday dessert, sometimes accompanied by a song, and at one restaurant, she received a card signed by the princesses.

Rest assured; there are no charges for any of these extra surprises, which is one of the things that makes vacations to Walt Disney World so magical!

Hope your son has a wonderful birthday trip!
