    Hi! We have made all of our dining reservations for August but unfortunately one person will not be attending now. MDE won't le me modify my reservations. Will we be charged for the person if they don't attend even if the rest of us are attending?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel so that we can help you with your Disney Dining question! I'm a little sad to hear that one of your travel guests will not be able to be a part of your magical vacation. Hopefully you'll be able to discover a special souvenir for them so that you can surprise them with a touch of magic at home.

    In general, you'll have no worries for your dining reservations. If most of your dining party is still intact, you will not be charged for a single person not being present. The only reservations I would recommend updating are those that are pre-paid. These would include special dining events like Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue or the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. If you have reservations for these types of events,, I would recommend calling Disney Dining at 0800 16 90 748 (UK) or (407) WDW-DINE to adjust your reservation.

    While you are waiting for your wonderful vacation time to arrive, I would recommend checking out the Disney Parks Blog. They often post the latest news and announcements about Walt Disney World Dining. My favorite posts are often the Foodie Guides. I drool over every new one!
