I made breakfast reservations at Chef Mickey for 7:10 am and Magic Kingdom opens at 9. I wanted to park at the TTC and take the monorail over to the Contemporary and then just go to the park after breakfast, but the TTC might not be open. Any suggestions?

Hi there, Tara! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

You and your family will have such a wonderful time dining at Chef Mickey's! This extremely popular dining location is located inside of Disney's Contemporary Resort and allows Guests to view the Disney Monorail as it zips by throughout their meal. This is also one of the few locations in which Guests have the opportunity to meet Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, and Goofy at the same time!

Generally, the Disney Monorail begins running one hour prior to the earliest park opening time. This means that you should be able to utilize this form of transportation around 7:00 am, in theory. However, if you would like a more straightforward form of transportation, I would recommend looking into the Minnie Van Service! This service provides personal transportation around Walt Disney World Resort and is the perfect way to arrive at early morning breakfast reservations. Guests may request and pay for the Minnie Van Service right from the Lyft app on their smartphone as well! Minnie Vans are able to accommodate up to 6 Guests and come equipped with two complimentary car seats.

I hope this has given you some ideas on how to get to your early morning breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
