Hey, Lynn! Thanks so much for stopping by with this great question! I am happy to let you know that guests are able to use rideshare services and taxi services while staying at
Disney Resort Hotels. They are a great way to make it to your dining reservations at other Resort hotels in a timely manner. I have also used rideshare services to make a quick run to a local grocery store to pick up supplies that we will need during our vacation. The best way to meet your ride is to head to your resort's main building or lobby and use their app on your mobile device to direct pick-up from that location.
Walt Disney World Resort actually has partnered with Lyft to provide their own magical rideshare-type transportation,
Minnie Van Service. The Minnie Vans are really the most adorable way to travel across the Resort! When you open the Lyft app while at any Walt Disney World Resort location, you should find a
More option with all of the available vehicle types. Just swipe across and
More is usually the last section. The best part of choosing Minnie Van Service for your transportation needs is that they can drop you off and pick you up right in the Disney bus depots. This is HUGE when it comes to Magic Kingdom Park! Rideshare services must drop off guests going to Magic Kingdom Park at the Ticket and Transportation Center. From there, you go through security and either board the ferry or monorail to the park. Trust me, it is a lengthy process! If you utilize Minnie Van Service, you will be dropped off right where the buses also drop off guests, giving you the ability to start your magical day SO much faster!
I am going to attach a video that my friend, Emille, made to highlight how amazing Minnie Van Service is. I hope all of this information helps you plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
