Luv panel!! Confused about getting dining plan or not..is it really worth it? Concerned 9 yr old nephew will only have the same choices all wk long. Thanks for any help :)

This is a very valid concern, unfortunately. My own young daughters are very adventurous eaters, and they are always disappointed by the bland kids meals available at Disney. Think mac and cheese, chicken fingers, hot dogs, burgers, grilled cheese, PB&J... My girls much prefer to order from the adult menu.

One option you have would be to purchase the adult dining plan for your nephew. This would require you to also purchase an adult (age 10 & up) theme park ticket for him, which does cost a little bit more. But the price difference is fairly small - on a 7 day ticket, for example, this is only a $19 increase. I consider that to be money very well spent for the better dining options!

Otherwise, you might wish to just pay out of pocket for your meals as you go. It's a little harder to budget that way, but it will allow your nephew to order as he pleases from either menu.

    Good luck!
