Luv you guys - so much help! Taking kids to YBC for Pirate Adventure. Adults want to go to Boardwalk during this event. Quickest way to get there? Walk? What activites are available@ BW during the morning hours? (kids event runs 9:30 - 11:30) Thanks

The end of the Boardwalk is only about a five minute walk away from the Yacht Club marina. That would be easiest and quickest way to get there.

However, I think it would be pretty tough for adults to kill two hours there in the morning. There are few shops you could browse in, but these are small. You could also rent a surrey bike to ride around the Boardwalk area, but this gets expensive quickly. The Boardwalk is not really a destination shopping area in the way Downtown Disney is. There is plenty to do at the Boardwalk in the evenings where the carnival games open and the street performers come out, but this does not happen until much later in the day.

If I were in that area and had two hours, I would actually venture into Epcot a bit. The International Gateway entrance to Epcot is about a 5 minute walk away from the Beach Club. I would pop into Epcot to take quick turn on Test Track or to shop at the giant Mouse Gear store for an hour before heading back to pick up the kids.
