Is lunch served at Scuttle's Cove on Castaway Cay? I've read some prior posts that indicate the kids can eat lunch at Scuttle's Cove, but when I spoke with someone directly at Disney Cruise Line they said that lunch is not served.

    Ahoy, Heather!

It's finally June, which means your vacation aboard Disney Cruise Line is almost here! Those vacation dreams you've been having will turn into reality when you cast off on your Bahamian voyage aboard the beautiful Disney Dream in just a few weeks. I know you are ready to wiggle your toes in the sand, feel the warm, ocean breeze on your face and bask in the tropical sun. It won't be long now!

I'm glad you reached out with your question about Scuttle's Cove on Castaway Cay. I've been there twice in the last few months and both times lunch was offered for those sailors checked in during meal time, which was at noon. The Oceaneer Clubbers walk over with the counselors and dine in Pop's Props together. When my sailors were younger, we would spend family time together before they would head to Scuttle's Cove just before lunch to enjoy a few hours of island fun with the youth counselors. They loved all the beach games and being able to participate in the whale dig at Monstro's Point. It gave my husband and I time to enjoy lunch together and a few hours at Serenity Bay!

Heather, best wishes for the most magical time aboard the Disney Dream! If you have any other last minute questions, please let us know!

    Bon voyage!
