We have lunch reservations for Be Our Guest on Oct 23rd. Do we pick the room we will be dining in or do they assign it ? I'm a little worried that the west wing thunder storm special effects will be a bit too scary for my 20 month old and 3.5 year old.

    Bonjour Christine!

How exciting to be dining at the enchanted Be Our Guest Restaurant during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! I have enjoyed dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant for lunch many times in the past and have always been allowed to choose between the 3 themed rooms. During our last visit, we also had an Advanced Dining Reservation for lunch and chose The Castle Gallery due to the availability in that specific room. Based on my own personal experience, I have always found it to be the most difficult to find an open table in The West Wing and the most availability located throughout The Castle Gallery. I can certainly understand your concern regarding The West Wing with little ones. Although my pre-teen and teenage children love the mysterious setting, I agree that it could be a bit scary for young children. Follow this link to learn more about Be Our Guest Restaurant.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to visit us again with any additional questions that you may have as your vacation draws closer. Best wishes for a magical trip, Christine!
