We have a Lunch reservation at Be Our Guest restaurant for 13:30. Will we make it back in time for the Parade at 2pm with a good view? Any advice on where to stand when coming from Fantasyland?

    Bonjour Emilee!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Walt Disney World vacation is just a few weeks away. How exciting!

The enchanting Be Our Guest Restaurant is my favorite place to dine when visiting Magic Kingdom Park. If you like chocolate, I highly recommend The Master's Cupcake. It's delicious!

To be honest, I think you are going to be cutting it too close if you have a dining reservation at 1:30 p.m. and Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. I have dined at Be Our Guest Restaurant multiple times at lunch and have always needed at least 30-40 minutes for our entire dining experience. I also prefer to secure a spot for Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at least 45 minutes prior to the start of the parade for optimal viewing. My recommendation is to try modifying your existing dining reservation to a little earlier that same day. If you are unable to move it up and decide to keep the dining reservation and try to make the parade, I would suggest watching from Liberty Square. If you dine earlier that day and find you have ample time to secure a spot along the parade route without having to rush from the restaurant, I recommend watching from Frontierland.

Sending pixie dust your way that you can experience both Be Our Guest Restaurant and Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade during your upcoming trip, Emilee. Let us know if you have any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical vacation!

    Bon Appétit,
