Welcome Home Ameena!
It's lovely to have you here with us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am thrilled to hear that you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your family for three weeks! That sounds incredible! I'd love to share a few tips that might help you stretch your vacation dining dollars.
First, and I can see that you are already on this one, closing to stay in a Disney Vacation Club Villa is one of the best ways to control your dining budget and also maintain some familiarity in your diet. If you are staying in a 1-, 2-, or 3-Bedroom Villa, you will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen where you can comfortable prepare simple, inexpensive, and satisfying meal. Deluxe Studio accommodations are equipped with the essentials, such as a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster.
I suggest placing a grocery order before your arrival so that you can have the right ingredients for your family's favorite quick meals, snacks, and drinks. You can order directly through Disney Vacation Club using the form located on the
DVC Member website, clicking the tab for Plan Vacations, then Pre-Arrival Checklist. Chose your Resort, check the items you desire, and fax or email the form at least 3-days before your arrival. Otherwise, you can hire a third-party grocery service, such as GardenGrocer.com. Both are simple.
Finally, drinks can easily take a gulp out of your vacation budget. It is hot and you must stay hydrated. Consider placing an Amazon.com order for bottled water or including it with your grocer order. Freeze bottles overnight and bring them into the parks. Drink as they cool. Also, almost all dining locations will provide you with a complimentary cup of ice water if you ask. Further, yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink into the theme parks, but not in a hard-sided cooler.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
