Now that lunch menu prices have changed at Be Our Guest Restaurant will the French Onion Soup @ $7.49 still be offered as a snack credit?

    Hi Joanne!

Using one of the Dining Plans is a great way to explore many of the incredible dining options available at the Walt Disney World Resort, including one of my favorites, Be Our Guest Restaurant.  Even though I don't normally choose to order soup while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort (since I am usually too warm to be in the mood for soup), I always make an exception for the French Onion Soup at Be Our Guest Restaurant!  It is that good!

I spoke to a Cast Member who informed me that since Be Our Guest Restaurant is considered a Quick-Service Restaurant at lunch, you would need to use a Quick-Service Dining Entitlement to enjoy your meal there, even if it is just the French Onion Soup.  That being said, you could choose the French Onion Soup as your entrée, or you could choose a regular entrée and add the French Onion Soup to your meal.  You would just need to pay for the soup separately.  You could also use two Quick-Service Dining Entitlements to get both a regular entrée and the French Onion Soup.

Just remember, it never hurts to ask!  When you arrive at Be Our Guest Restaurant to order your meal, you can ask the Cast Members there if there is a way to just order the French Onion Soup using a Snack Entitlement.  Although the answer will likely be that you will need to use your Quick Service Dining Entitlement, you never know when a Cast Member will be able to work a little magic for you!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
