The lunch menu at Be Our Guest seems limited for my picky eaters. Are there any items available not on the menu? Also, if there are no characters at lunch, what is the big draw? Is it just the atmosphere and theming or am I missing something?

Hi, Christian! While menu items are subject to change, the only options usually available that you don't see on the menu are ones for people with special dietary needs.  There are likely to be options for guests who need kosher items or menu items that are specifically designed for guests with food allergies.

The current lunch menu features a variety of sandwiches, a couple of salads, a quiche selection and my favorite, the braised pork (so yummy!).  The kids' menu offers kid friendly options like grilled cheese and macaroni with marinara sauce (you can leave the sauce off in favor of butter), but also a really delicious turkey meatloaf.

I think there are a couple of reasons Be Our Guest is so popular.  It is still relatively new, so there are many guests who haven't tried the new location.  The theming inside the restaurant is also incredible, perfectly capturing the infamous west wing and the gorgeous ballroom and stunning mosaics.  There are other touches throughout that are really wonderful, and the bonus is that once you have ordered, you can go sit down and wait for your food to be brought to your table, which is way nicer than juggling full trays while you scope out a table.

If there isn't anything on the menu you think you would enjoy, maybe you could just go in for a quick dessert after eating the main part of your meal somewhere else.  If you have the opportunity to go inside, it's definitely worth the visit.
