Niki,
Both great questions! The short answers are;
Yes, you can dress more casually at Cinderella's Royal Table, and
yes, you can charge your dining plan credits at meals with your MagicBands. Here is what our family did when we had these experiences;
Cinderella's Royal TableWhen my wife and I took our girls to
Cinderella's Royal Table to meet the princesses, we adults were in our normal park attire with the girls proudly sporting their princess dresses (Cinderella & Belle, if you were wondering!). We had the girls wearing shorts and t-shirts under their princess dresses. After lunch we had them go in to the bathroom to take the dresses off and I put them in my backpack so that they were in more ride-friendly attire after our magical meal. This kept us from having to run back to the resort, and made it easier for them to get around the park.
Magic Bands and the Disney Dining PlanNow on to the
Disney Dining Plan. I love that we can just use our
MagicBands to apply our Disney Dining Plan credits to our meals. When tips were appropriate at meals, we also were able to use the bands to charge those to our resort account. Also, in case you were not aware, when you pay for a meal with Disney Dining Plan credits, the receipt will show you your credit balances. This is a convenient way to keep track of how many you have left for your trip.
Have a Magical Vacation!
