Are there luggage scales at Disney resort properties?

Hi there, Madison, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you're here with this great question today! It sounds like you and I have a lot in common when it comes to packing - I love to be prepared, and I also love to bring home souvenirs. That can make things difficult when making sure my suitcase isn't too full for my flight.

Madison, I know that there used to be luggage scales at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, but I did some research and found that they're no longer available. However, I've seen reports of scales being available at some of the Resorts. I definitely recommend checking with Bell Services at your Resort to see if they have a scale that you can use. I've also heard of Guests bringing a small, lightweight handheld scale to weigh their luggage at their convenience in their room. These are packable and easy-to-use, and might just be the thing that saves you from having to pay an additional fee during your return trip home!

I just know that you're going to have an absolute blast during your vacation. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you prepare for your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See you real soon!
