Hiya, Kathy, and thanks for stopping by planDisney with this packable question! You'll arrive at Walt Disney World Resort in one sleep—can you believe it? It sounds like you might be heading straight to EPCOT, so let's talk about options for storing items during your Disney day.
First, EPCOT has become my favorite, but please don't tell the other parks! I love eating around the World Showcase, especially during the festivals. Your visit falls during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, so I hope you enjoy the delectable dishes at the
Global Marketplaces. I can't wait to have another Pickle Milkshake at Brew-Wing Lab the next week!
Sorry, I always get distracted talking about EPCOT! You'll have a couple of options for storing items so you can be unencumbered in the park. The first
Locker Rental is conveniently located past EPCOT's main entrance to the right of Spaceship Earth. This location offers Jumbo-sized lockers that are 17x22x26 inches and are available on a first-come basis. Please remember you won't be allowed through security with bags over 24x15x18 inches. I recommend reviewing the
complete list of prohibited items so you can pack your essentials accordingly.
EPCOT offers a second locker area at the
International Gateway entrance near the France Pavilion. This area doesn't have jumbo lockers, but they provide a virtual locker to store your items for a similar cost. A Cast Member told me this option is a storage room where guests can leave items during the day. Just so you know, the same size rules will apply when coming through the security checkpoint at the International Gateway.
If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, my tip is to head there first to leave your bags with
Bell Services. Even if your room isn't ready, you can check your luggage and head off for a day of magic. This service is complimentary, but I always tip the Cast Members for their hard work.
Kathy, I hope you find the perfect spot for your suitcases when you arrive at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Have a fabulous time, and
stop by planDisney with any other questions.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
