    I was lucky to get free dining for myself, husband, 5 year old son, and 7 and 10 year old daughters, but still need to stretch our dining plan credits to stay on budget. Are there good counter service meals to share? How about good snacks to share?

    Hi, Colleen!  When it comes to great quick service meals to share, look outside the burger box.  There are quite a few quick service restaurants at Walt Disney World that have great meals that you could easily share among two people.

    Be Our Guest, which is a quick service lunch credit, offers several great options for sharing.  The sandwiches are really generously sized, and the braised pork is a full dinner that can easily be split between two people.  Flame Tree BBQ at Disney's Animal Kingdom features a full half chicken or half rack of ribs on their lunch platter.  Combined with cornbread and a side dish, this usually feeds at least two in my family.

    The ABC Commissary lunch gives a few great options for splitting.  There's a New York Strip Steak served with french fries and broccoli or a couple of seafood platter options, including a salmon platter.  At EPCOT, check out the Sunshine Seasons, which offers options that include Mongolian Beef, salmon, and rotisserie chicken.  When you add the side dishes and a dessert, you can definitely feed two people.

    As far as snacks, you can get a box of popcorn, cups of freshly cut fruit, carrots and celery sticks, crepes, hand scooped ice cream, and much more.  Many of them can be shared among at least two people.  My family can easily split a crispie rice treat among two or three of us, or even some of the larger pretzels and things like that.
