Hi, Anne!
The
holiday season is extra magical at the Walt Disney World Resort! I am thrilled you'll be able to experience a special pixie-dusted Christmas along with ringing in a new year (and decade!) this December. There's nothing like strolling down Main Street U.S.A. soaking in the smells, sights, and sounds of a Disney Christmas!
Anne, it sounds like you are coming up with your vacation plan to best maximize your time during your holiday stay. When my family visited around the holidays a couple of yEARs ago, I strategized for a few months on how to best manage this busy time of yEAR. I think you are smart to consider
Extra Magic Hours and will most likely find updated
calendars as you count down to your trip. I'd regularly check all the way up to a few weeks before your departure for added hours. I know my family found getting to the parks as early as possible to be a huge plus for checking things off our must-do list. During the afternoons, we took breaks to rest and tour the resorts to see all the beautiful holiday decor. We also made time to visit
Disney Springs to enjoy the entertainment, snack on holiday treats, shop, and wander along the Christmas Tree Trail. I couldn't choose a favorite tree because they were all so fun and whimsical!
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question, Anne. I'll keep my fingers crossed for lots of additional hours during your visit so that you can experience as much holiday magic as possible. Please let us know if you think of any other questions. We loved to help.
Nancy
