Disney Dining Plan is a great way to prepay for meals and get a lot of value for your money. My family absolutely loves using it because it gives us the freedom to not think about what we are ordering and splurge a little at each dining location. My daughter likes to think that this means filet mignon at every meal!
On the Disney Dining Plan you get an entree, dessert, and drink at each table-service meal. You are able to exchange a dessert for a fruit plate, side salad, or cup of soup when it is available. I would ask your server when you sit down if it is an option for you because some restaurants do not have these items available. Most restaurants are willing to work with you especially if it is for a dietary request. I recommend taking a look at
all of the restaurants that are included in the Disney Dining Plan and making reservations as soon as possible. This will ensure you don't have long wait times and can get into the restaurants that fit your dietary restrictions.
If you are craving something a little sweet some restaurants actually have amazing sugar-free dessert options or cheese plates that qualify as a dessert. One of my favorite restaurants in Disney World is
California Grill. It is a signature dining experience that has an amazing cheese plate on the dessert menu, and it features the best fireworks viewing location in all of Disney World. If you make late reservations and request a table by the window, you can enjoy your meal while watching the fireworks from Magic Kingdom.
