I have DS5 who loves roller coasters & will be tall enough for Space Mt in Oct.Trying to decide if he should ride it.We were there in 2010 when he was 4 & he rode Tower of Terror & was fine.Any recommendations-can't decide since it is a dark co

    Delaney,

Go for it! I really think he will be fine, especially if he's already ridden Tower of Terror. Space Mountain is actually fairly tame as far as roller coasters go. It's not all that fast, and no major drops. The thrill really comes from the dark atmosphere. As long as he's prepared for that, I think he will have a great time!

I have three young daughters myself and we've always had a rule that they must ride everything that they are tall enough to go on. I think this has helped them to be braver than many of their peers, and they are willing to try most everything. So far, they've loved them all! The only ride I suggest parents ride first to preview is Dinosaur, as many children (even older ones!) are frightened by the special effects.

    Have a great vacation!
